The Women’s Centre for Change, Penang (WCC) is a non-profit, tax-exempt organisation dedicated to the elimination of violence against women and children and their empowerment, and the promotion of gender equality and social justice. Established in 1985, we provide free services in counselling, court support, and referral for shelter. WCC also conducts school programmes for children and teenagers to prevent sexual abuse. We organise talks and webinars to raise awareness on gender-based violence. We also work closely with relevant Ministries and government agencies to advocate for legal and policy reforms to improve women's and children's rights.
