In an electrifying fusion of community spirit and athleticism, the REDLINE Fitness Games 2024, powered by Nissan and supported by Sokong, united fitness enthusiasts and compassionate individuals in an unforgettable event.

The Cycle for Change Challenge powered by Concept2 Malaysia BikeERG not only tested participants' endurance but also showcased the power of collective action in transforming the lives of children at Yayasan Chow Kit.

The Buzz of the Event

The Mines International Exhibition and Convention Centre (MIECC) was alive with energy as over 3,500 athletes pushed their limits across various challenges, while 3,000 enthusiastic spectators cheered them on, creating an electric atmosphere for REDLINE Fitness Games 2024.

The venue was filled with a hive of activity, buzzing with excitement and camaraderie. From intense individual competitions to thrilling team relays, it showcased the very best of athletic prowess and community spirit.

Among the participants was Syed Sadiq Albar, Director of Partnership at Sokong, who not only took part but also excelled, securing third place (bronze) in both men’s doubles and mixed team relay.

Cycle for Change: A Diverse and Inclusive Challenge

From professional cyclists to first-time riders, the diversity of participants showcased the inclusive nature of the event. It wasn’t just about individual performance; it was about what could be achieved together.

The collective effort was astounding, resulting in an impressive total distance cycled and a palpable sense of community and purpose.

Surpassing Goals and Making Impact

Thanks to the unwavering support of our community, we surpassed our initial goal, providing 1,185 nutritious meals to the children at Yayasan Chow Kit.

Amplifying Donations Through Corporate Support

A standout feature of this year’s challenge was the donation matching initiative. Every RM10 donated by participants was multiplied to RM50, thanks to our generous corporate partners.

This incredible boost ensured our efforts had a far-reaching impact, significantly benefiting the children at Yayasan Chow Kit. This initiative highlighted the vital role of corporate social responsibility and how businesses can magnify community-driven efforts.

Exciting Rewards and Special Incentives

Adding to the event's excitement, special rewards were given to participants. The first 200 participants received exclusive RM10 vouchers from The Body Shop Malaysia as a token of appreciation. Additionally, those who surpassed the minimum distance unlocked a limited edition Sokong mug.

These rewards not only incentivised participation but also created a sense of accomplishment and excitement among the participants.
