The new leadership team, committed to creating a supportive club environment, will strive to inspire members to greater heights of service. Shared values of integrity, diversity, equity, and inclusion will be embraced, ensuring everyone is treated with respect and dignity.

"As President, my vision is to create an inclusive and welcoming club environment, fostering a positive club culture and experience for all members," said Shanthi. "Together, we will identify and engage in meaningful service initiatives to address the needs of people and communities. Every act of kindness, generous donation, and volunteer hour can transform lives and inspire many."

Guided by Rotary's Four-Way Test, RCKV remains committed to the principles of truth, fairness, goodwill, and beneficial outcomes. These values will serve as a moral compass in all their endeavours, ensuring that their efforts bring about positive change that stands the test of time.

The club's key Service Projects for the new Rotary year include Community Medical Camps, Gift of Limb, Women Empowerment, Pink Unity Breast Cancer Awareness, Animal Shelter, PolioPlus, Box of Health for newborns and mothers from the underprivileged sector, Donate-a-book Campaign, Back-to-School Backpack, Hand Hygiene @ Primary Schools, Interactors Leadership Training, Plalking, Festive Cheer for the disadvantaged, and Youth Empowerment Summit.

The 2024-2025 Rotary theme, "The Magic of Rotary," emphasises the transformative power of Rotary International's work in communities worldwide. In every corner of the globe, Rotary brings hope, compassion, and change.

"Our journey forward in Rotary year 2024-25 is guided by Rotary's action plan, which is built on four strategic priorities: Increase Our Impact, Expand Our Reach, Enhance Participant Engagement, and Increase Our Ability to Adapt," said District Governor Arvind. "Together, we can spread hope, be a shining light in this world, and empower individuals and leaders to create lasting change by embodying the 'Magic of Rotary' in all our projects and activities."

As a global network, Rotary values diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). RCKV respects and celebrates the contributions of people of all backgrounds. Cultivating the DEI model is essential in realising Rotary's vision.

The Rotary Club of Klang Valley is part of Rotary International, a global network of 1.4 million neighbours, friends, leaders, and problem-solvers who see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change across the globe, in their communities, and in themselves.
