Ferris Wheel Organisation: Transforming Lives with Sustainable Solutions

Since its establishment in 2018, Ferris Wheel Organisation (FWO) has been operating as a dedicated non-profit, charity organisation, officially registered with the Registrar of Societies under the registration number PPM0031029052018. Our primary objective is to touch and improve lives through sustainable methods, where we want to uplift and support the welfare of marginalised and underprivileged communities through sustainable and impactful methods.

We are committed to making a positive and lasting difference in the lives of others through sustainable charity work. Since our inception, we have successfully executed various campaigns and projects that have brought significant benefits to our local communities. Through our collective efforts, we are proud to have positively impacted and served the lives of at least 10,000 individuals.

To achieve our mission of creating a sustainable charity impact, we have two main campaigns that play a crucial role:

The Yellow Bag Movement

The Yellow Bag Movement is where we provide grocery care packs to those in need, containing essential food items like rice, flour, 3-in-1 drinks, and hygiene products. The generous contributions from the community enable us to create these care packs and distribute them to individuals and families who require immediate assistance.

The strength and impact of the Yellow Bag Movement lie in the generous contributions and support from individuals, businesses, and organisations within the community. Their support plays an important role in making this initiative possible and allows us to extend a helping hand to those who are facing difficult circumstances.

The Yellow Bag Movement is more than just providing grocery care packs; it represents hope, solidarity, and a commitment to making a difference in the lives of those less fortunate.

The Ferris Green Project

Ferris Green Project is the first urban vertical farm for charity using aquaponics technology. The produce grown on the farm will be sold to the community to provide healthy food options to individuals and families where the proceeds from the harvest will then be used to support those in need by providing them with basic grocery necessities. Additionally, the farm will serve to provide employment opportunities for single mothers, educational resources, providing workshops and classes on sustainable agriculture practices and cultivating healthy community works.

What sets the Ferris Green Project apart is its innovative approach to giving back. Instead of relying solely on external donations, the farm generates its own revenue through produce sales. These proceeds are then channelled back into the community to support those facing economic challenges by providing them with essential grocery necessities (Yellow Bag Movement).This circulatory system ensures a continuous and sustainable cycle of giving and support, creating a lasting impact on the lives of those in need.

Additionally, we actively organise various activities to further support the FerrisGreen Project. These activities encompass workshops and charity movie events, aiming to educate and engage the community. Through this comprehensive approach, we strive to make a meaningful and continuous difference in the lives of the underprivileged.

Birthday Pledge

Our "Birthday Pledge'' campaign encourages individuals to celebrate their birthdays by requesting their friends and families to donate instead of giving gifts. These contributions support our charitable projects, making a meaningful impact on the lives of the underprivileged. By turning personal milestones into opportunities for giving. We celebrate not only the joy of birthdays but also the joy of giving. It serves as a reminder that every person has the capacity to make a meaningful impact in others lives.

FWO Merchandise

In addition to our other initiatives, we also raise funds through merchandise sales. Our specially designed merchandise not only serves as a way to raise money for our charitable projects but also helps to spread awareness about our cause.

Continuous Plan for FWO

In 2023, Ferris Wheel Organisation's main focus is to expand the Ferris GreenProject and increase community engagement. We aim to make a greater impact by reaching more people in need and involving the community in our mission.Through workshops, farm day visits, and sharing our progress, we hope to inspire others to join us in creating a greener and more sustainable future.

For the Yellow Bag Movement, our goal is to touch the lives of over 1000 families this year. We'll achieve this through community outreach, strategic partnerships, and efficient fundraising. Together, we'll make a positive difference by providing essential grocery care packs to those facing economic challenges. With the support of our volunteers and donors, we can build a more compassionate society and create lasting change.

To achieve our goals for the Ferris Green Project and the Yellow Bag Movement In 2023, we will implement the following activities:

Ferris Green Project:

• Reaching out to single mothers to provide employment opportunities for them by giving educational resources, and providing workshops and classes.
• Expand the greenhouse to increase vegetable production and meet the growing demand for fresh produce.
• Host farm day visits to provide the community with first hand experiences of sustainable agriculture practices.
• Organise workshops on eco-friendly farming techniques and environmental responsibility.
• Share our progress stories through social media, and website updates to increase community engagement and support.
• Foster partnerships with local businesses and organisations to create collaborative events that promote sustainability and the benefits of the FerrisGreen Project.

Yellow Bag Movement:

• Conduct community outreach to identify and reach more families in need of grocery care packs.
• Form strategic partnerships with other NGOs, businesses, and community leaders to expand our outreach efforts.
• Organise fundraising campaigns and events to raise funds for creating more grocery care packs.
• Engage volunteers in efficiently packing and distributing the care packs to ensure a lasting impact.
• Utilise social media and public engagement to share stories of how the YellowBag Movement is making a difference in the lives of families in need.
• With focused efforts, we aim to create a positive impact on the environment and the underprivileged. By collaborating with the community, we hope to build a better world together.
