Ampang's Green Revolution - Yellow House KL's Community Farm Initiative

Yellow House, founded in 2011, has been steadfast in its mission to uplift the most vulnerable in Selangor and Kuala Lumpur, including the homeless, the urban poor, and the refugee community. Through a commitment to sustainability, Yellow House equips individuals with the tools for long-term empowerment and independence, guided by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In essence, they teach resilience.

The pandemic, extending beyond a health crisis, has left a significant economic strain, particularly on the vulnerable B40 community. Recognising the challenges as opportunities, Yellow House shifted its focus to farming to ensure the sustenance of its beneficiaries. However, this initiative goes beyond providing immediate aid; it is a commitment to empower families through sustainable farming practices, promoting employment, and fostering self-sufficiency.

Yellow House's approach not only secures a controlled food supply for families but also generates additional income sources.
