Bringing light to Orang Asli villages
We are living in 2023 and there are still isolated communities lacking access to electricity, relying on costly generators or polluting biomass for lighting at RM4 per night. Our solution: a plug-and-play solar home system. It cuts recipients' expenses in half, offering consistent, life-enhancing lighting for daily activities, from cooking to studying, improving the lives of the most economically disadvantaged. This project's goal is to provide electricity to a remote Orang Asli village located within the Royal Belum State Park, bringing light to 100 villagers from the Jahai community.
