RCKV - GIFT OF LIMB

Gift of Limb – Restoring Mobility, Dignity & Hope Through direct engagement with amputees, their families, and healthcare professionals, we discovered a harsh reality: mobility loss strips away not only independence but also dignity. Many of these individuals live in isolation, unable to work or participate fully in their communities, simply because they cannot afford a prosthetic limb. Despite seeking government assistance, most receive no aid. With nowhere else to turn, they come to us—seeking a chance to walk again, to work again, to live again. Since 2021, Rotary Club of Klang Valley (RCKV) has been running the Gift of Limb project. Thanks to the generosity of individual donors, we have already provided 16 amputees with prosthetic limbs, transforming their lives with renewed mobility and hope. Each story is a testament to the power of compassion and collective giving. But the need is far greater than what we have been able to provide. Every ringgit matters.
